Explanation of Rod Types

Here at All Things Brazing we offer three types of brazing rod plus Phos Copper. We also offer small silver coils.

Brazing Rods:

• Nickel Bronze (C-04™): Steel and Copper brazing. Additional silicon for improved flow. Can be used with our Type “B” bronze paste flux.
• Nickel Silver (GF-72): Recommended for stainless steel brazing. Strongest tensile strength of the bronze alloys. Can be used with our Type “B” bronze paste flux.
• Low Fuming Bronze: Steel and Copper brazing. Designed for low zinc fuming. Can be used with our Type “B” bronze paste flux.

Phos Copper: Copper & Brass brazing. 0-15% silver offered. Self-fluxing properties.

Silver Brazing: Copper, Brass, and Steel brazing. 30-56% silver offered. Used with our white or black silver fluxes.
